How Long is the Class?

Most American Heart Association training sites typically teach the initial first time ACLS class in 2 back to back days. We however at CPR Tampa have found that most students prefer to take the one day course. Although the class typically runs 10-12 hours, which makes for a long day, it allows for 1-Day certifications! The class is highly organized and the instructors run every aspect with great efficiency. Sufficient breaks and switching up teaching modalities helps to break up the class so it moves seemingly fast. But, keep in mind our specialty is to ensure that students are learning the material and are not rushed through critical points and skills.

Our instructors teach this ACLS class in Tampa, Florida in a stress-free, helpful and friendly classroom environment. It’s our promise!

When Do I Get My Card? You will receive your 2 year AHA ACLS card after successful completion of the class – SAME DAY!

Although we usually recommend taking the full hands-on, live class for anyone who has never taken an Advanced Cardiac Life Support course, another option is to complete the ACLS AHA Online portion and then complete an in-person skills check with CPR Tampa. The skills check takes about 45 minutes. To schedule a skills test simply contact us.
