Here is a brief overview of what is included in an AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Cardiac course.
First the class begins with the PALS Science review followed by 1 and 2 rescuer infant and child CPR, resuscitation team concept, coping with death, pediatric assessment, practice of the cardiac, respiratory, and shock core cases, core case testing, and written exam. Students will be given ample time to practice before final testing occurs.
The instructors at CPR Tampa are trained in providing a friendly and stress-free classroom. We believe a relaxed environment setting contributes to optimal learning.
Prior to taking the class, you will be required to take a self assessment test. Any problems you are having can then be addressed by the instructor on the day of class.
Our instructors love teaching and love helping students be successful.
