There are many Online CPR, BLS, ACLS and PALS online classes that are advertised. Most are not American Heart Association (AHA) approved. Healthcare employers require American Heart Association certifications. Taking a course that is not approved would be a waste of time and money. You can usually find this information on the website offering the course in the Terms and Conditions area (usually a small link at the bottom of the page) or the FAQ’s area of the website. You cannot receive an American Heart Association certification card entirely online! An in-person skills session is always required.
