Important Information – ACLS-BLS Class

Thank you for choosing CPR Tampa for your ACLS and BLS Certifications.

Receipt: You will be receiving your paid receipt via email. *If you don’t receive it, check your SPAM/JUNK folder – sometimes by mistake it gets sent there.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

*Please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled class time for Class Sign In.

Book Requirement:
The American Heart Association requires that every student has the 2020 or later edition of the AHA Basic Life Support book AND the 2020 or later edition of the Advanced Cardiac Life Support book at the time of class. If you didn’t order books with us, make sure you bring them to class. If you arrive to class without the required books, you can purchase them before class begins in order to participate in the class. Your instructor can assist you with this on the day of class. If you ordered books with us, they will be shipped as long as there is sufficient time before your class date. If there is not sufficient time for shipping, they will be waiting for you at time of class. You can also call our office to arrange a time to pick up the books, if there is not enough time for shipping.

Required Pre-Test:
In order to participate in the ACLS portion of this class, you must complete the ACLS pre-test with a 70% or higher. See Pre-Course instructions for details.

Class Length:
Your ACLS-BLS Class will last around 8-9 hours.

What to Wear:
Just wear comfortable clothing.

What to bring:
Please bring the printed ACLS pre-test, and the required books (see above).

Certification Cards: Certification cards are issued electronically the same day by midnight.

Refunds and Rescheduling:
There are NO REFUNDS for classes or books that were purchased and scheduled. You may reschedule a class, if necessary, by emailing [email protected] with that request before your scheduled class. If we do not receive a request from you prior to your class, we do not offer a refund and you may not reschedule. If you do not pass the course, we will allow you to study the materials and reschedule for a future class. We allow this as a courtesy one time only. If you are not successful on the second try, you will have to purchase the class again.

Card Recovery Costs:
All American Heart Association cards are now digital. If you lose access to your card, there is a $20 recovery cost for each occurrence. However, if you purchased Card Insurance, recovering access to your card is FREE for 2 full years.
